A good editorial in today's Boston Globe points out that Barack Obama will have "a chance to draw a line between the Bush administration's fast-and-loose treatment of the Constitution and his own commitment to stick to its terms...."
The person mentioned in the editorial, Ali al-Marri -- a student from Qatar accused in 2003 of being an al Qaeda sleeper agent and held without trial ever since -- is an ACLU client.
